Terms and Conditions
By accessing Alexandra Motovilina website and using her services, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Alexandra Motovilina offers a booking her live-illustrator services for the events and sell her artworks via this website.
2. Booking & Reservation
A booking is confirmed only once the required deposit is received. Dates cannot be held without payment. Early booking is recommended due to limited availability during peak seasons.
3. Deposits & Payments
A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the date. The remaining balance must be paid no later than one week after an event day.
4. Travel & Logistics
For events outside Geneva; Switzerland: travel arrangements and accommodation must be covered by the client or pre-approved expenses will be invoiced.
5. Guest Experience & Output Limit
Live illustration is a hand-crafted experience, and only estimated number of illustrations can be guaranteed. The number of artworks is based on the duration and style of illustration.
6. Changes & Cancellations
If the client cancels:
Less than 30 days before the event → Deposit is non-refundable
Less than 14 days before the event → 100% of the agreed fee is due
If the artist must cancel due to emergency → all payments will be refunded.
7. Usage Rights
The artist retains copyright to all artworks and may use images for portfolio, social media, or promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Commercial usage or reproduction of artworks requires a separate licensing agreement.
8. Intellectual property
All content provided by Alexandra Motovilina Studio (visuals, texts, designs) is the property of the founder and may not be used, modified, or shared without written permission.
Shipping and Return policy
1. Orders
Orders are placed via our website or by direct communication. An order is confirmed once full payment is received.
2. Custom Artwork & Personalization
All personalized pieces are made uniquely for the client. Therefore:
Orders cannot be cancelled once production has started.
Full payment is required if the items are completed, regardless of delivery or usage by the client.
3. Payment
Payments are made through secure third-party providers (Bank transfer). No banking data is stored on our website.
4. Shipping & Delivery
For shipped custom orders:
- The artist commits to dispatch items on time.
- Delivery delays or issues caused by shipping companies, customs, or client inaction do not affect payment obligations.
Additional shipping or customs fees are the client’s responsibility.
5. Final Acceptance & Damages
Once artworks are accepted, no refund or alteration is possible. The artist is not responsible for loss or damage after delivery.
6. If you would like to return an item, please e-mail to alexandra.motovilina@gmail.com. We accept returns of most products, excluding original art works and custom made items, within 30 days of when you received them.
7. Christmas Ornaments
All Christmas Ornaments are final sale, however if your order arrives damaged, please email a photo and your order number to alexandra.motovilina@gmail.com and we will work with you to resolve issuing a replacement or a refund.
